Meet Dr. Terry Yi, DC
Dr. Terry Yi is a Doctor of Chiropractic with over 30 years of experience in chiropractic care, alongside extensive training in acupuncture and holistic health. Born and raised in Sioux City, he later moved to Los Angeles, completed his undergraduate studies in New York, and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West in the San Francisco Bay Area.
He is a licensed chiropractor in Iowa and Guam, a National Board-Certified Chiropractor, a National Board-Certified Chiropractic Acupuncturist, and a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner. Dr. Yi has also gained extensive clinical experience in hospital settings in South Korea, collaborating with neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, and practitioners of Korean medicine. He currently serves as a college dean and is passionate about education and helping others improve their health.
Dr. Yi is passionate about helping people feel their best by addressing the underlying factors behind their symptoms — whether through chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, or functional medicine.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Yi is a devout Christian and devoted family man. He enjoys traveling with his wife and two children, playing and watching sports, and practicing Taekwondo, where he holds a 4th-degree black belt.
