Starting the Year Off with A Boost from Your Chiropractor

It’s finally 2021! We are all excited, but there are still a few lingering stresses some of us may be feeling. It’s tax season, the effects of a pandemic are still a big issue hanging around, maybe you’re starting a new job, a lot of changes are going on with schools right now with hybrid learning, masks are everywhere and anywhere, and much more. That means the stress you are feeling can be detrimental to not only your mental wellbeing, but also your physical wellbeing.

Let us help you start 2021 off right with a visit with Dr. Davis to get a plan set up for the year and we can keep you, your body, and your mind on track.

Here at Chiropractic First, we do an initial evaluation and exam to see what your problem areas are, then we set up a plan from there to get you on track. We do this so that you understand that we are not here only when you get injured or when you are sore. We are here for you all the time! Most people don’t know that seeing a chiropractor regularly actually keeps you from avoiding problems down the road and can help you mentally as well.

Here are just a few examples of when should you see Dr. Davis for chiropractic care:

1. When You Have Back Pain

He can help relieve or reduce the pain from a condition without the need for extensive measures. Also, you can see him for non-specific lumbar spine pain. This will help by getting regular spinal adjustments. This can be done after an initial treatment to help prevent future problems.

2. When You Have Neck Pain

Dr. Davis will be able to differentiate whether it is simply soreness or a real injury. Sitting at a desk all day, or moving your arms and lifting, keeping your neck well adjusted can prevent over-use and discomfort in many ways.

3. When You Have Muscle Spasms

Dr. Davis will assist you with regular care which will help ease the muscle spasms and pains from use throughout the day or night. The hands-on approach will help align your muscles and joints to take any added pressure off your soft tissues and nerves.

4. Frequent Tension Headaches or Migraines

Dr. Davis may ask several questions about your migraines and headaches to pinpoint when and where you get them the most. While it can be a neck issue, it's important to treat total body care to reduce the likelihood of headaches.

5. A Job that Needs You to Sit Most of the Time

Dr. Davis would do a full physical exam and treatment to find the problem areas which can arise more in the back and neck from sitting and focus on those. Also, sitting can slow the metabolism drastically so creating knowledge of what can help inside and outside the body is important.

6. Shooting Pain in the Legs and Limited Range of Motion

Dr. Davis would do a thorough exam to find the root cause. Then he would set up a schedule and treatment plan for you to follow from then on to progress and get better.

7. Being an Active Person

If you are athletic or active Dr. Davis wants to make sure you stay that way. It is important that you can continue to be able to move how you want and the overuse of certain muscles can cause issues and pain. Adjustments and treatments will make sure you stay healthy and fit.

If you are looking to work on any of the above areas and start improving your health this year, start with Chiropractic First. Goals are much more attainable when your body allows you to perform its best!
